Ornish-Inspired Lemon Herb Baked Salmon with Roasted Asparagus

- 2 Salmon fillets
- 1 bunch Asparagus
- 1 Lemon 1 Lemon
- 2 tablespoons Fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- to taste Black pepper
- to taste Sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss asparagus with 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
- Place salmon fillets on a separate baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, parsley, garlic, and remaining olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the herb mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Bake salmon and asparagus simultaneously for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and asparagus is tender-crisp.
- Serve immediately.
