Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon fillets
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet.
  4. In another bowl, combine remaining olive oil, turmeric, ginger, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Rub the mixture onto the salmon fillets.
  6. Place salmon on the same baking sheet with the Brussels sprouts.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and Brussels sprouts are tender.
  8. While salmon and Brussels sprouts bake, whisk together honey and lemon juice.
  9. During the last 5 minutes of baking, drizzle honey-lemon mixture over the Brussels sprouts.
  10. Serve immediately.
